5. What do I need to work in Iceland?
The basic rules regarding foreigners working in Iceland are as follows:

A) If you are from one of the Nordic countries (Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland) you have the same right to work in Iceland as we Icelanders do, and vice versa.

B) If you are from a country belonging to the EEA (European Economic Area), you have to apply for a residence permit no later than three months after you arrive to Iceland.
